Thirty-five years on the same street
James Timko opened this practice in DeLand in 1990. In the decades since, the technology has changed almost beyond recognition — the approach has not. We are still an independent, locally owned practice where you see the same people at every appointment and nobody is working to a sales target.
We are a full-service practice, which means we handle the whole arc of hearing care: the first free screening, comprehensive diagnostic testing, tinnitus evaluation, earwax removal, fitting and fine-tuning hearing aids, and then the unglamorous, essential work of keeping those devices running for years afterward.
What makes us different
We are not owned by a manufacturer or a retail chain, so we fit what suits your ears.
The same two people look after you every visit — and have done for years.
If you don't need hearing aids, we say so. Plenty of visits end that way.

Fitting a hearing aid is the beginning. Cleanings, adjustments and repairs are part of the relationship, not an upsell.

Bring your spouse, son or daughter. A second set of ears in the room helps, and hearing loss affects the whole household.
